Fundamental values

All my work on the school board is driven by these basic values about education:

Every child can learn, and every child deserves the best and most appropriate education our community can provide.

Some children face higher hurdles in their effort to get a quality education. We as a community must commit resources to ensure that every child has a chance to fulfill their potential.

Our schools must reflect and embrace the diversity and values of our community as we educate the citizens of tomorrow.

Our schools need to prepare students to live and work in a rapidly changing world, emphasizing knowledge and skills that will help them adjust to change.
